No animal testing
Waldies does not carry out or commission tests on animals. Our research relies on laboratory analysis, published data and modern non-animal methods.

Every effluent from our laboratories and plants is treated before discharge, and solid residues go to authorised recyclers. Nothing is released untreated to soil or water.
Our research is paid for from Waldies' own earnings. No outside sponsor decides what we study or what we publish to customers.
We work with CSIR–CGCRI and CIPET, among India's leading national institutions, for testing, characterisation and joint research.
Our research follows our customers and the direction of regulation: away from lead where the market is moving, and towards cleaner, more efficient chemistry everywhere.
| Lead-free PVC stabilization | Calcium-zinc systems that match the processing window and long-term stability of lead, for pipes, cables and profiles. |
| Battery oxide performance | Oxide reactivity, particle size and free-lead control for better paste behaviour and longer battery life. |
| Rubber activation | Zinc oxide grades that deliver vulcanisation performance with less zinc. |
| Bio-based additives | Plasticizers and co-stabilizers from renewable feedstocks, starting with epoxidized soybean oil. |
| Cleaner processes | Lower energy use, less waste and safer handling in our own plants. |
A customer line, a regulation or a performance gap sets the brief.
Our chemists design and test candidates at bench scale.
Promising systems are made in pilot batches and characterised, with partner institutions where needed.
We support trials on the customer's own line, then move to regular production.
