Wire & Cable India has reported on Waldies' plans for its next phase of growth, built around performance-led products rather than price-led competition.
“We are planning significant capacity additions and are working on setting up an independent Virichem facility within the next two years,” said Deepak Ojha, Managing Director, Waldies.
The report notes Waldies' focus on advanced stabilizers and lubricants for high-performance wires and cables, on sustainable chemistries under the Virichem® brand, and on stronger process controls and application laboratories at its existing plants in Konnagar and Dausa.
It identifies power, construction, EV infrastructure and railways as the main sectors driving demand in the wire and cable industry.
