Waldies plans an independent Virichem facility and new capacity
Wire & Cable India reports Waldies' plans for new capacity and an independent Virichem facility, focused on performance products for wires and cables.
New Delhi, 3 February 2023: Waldies unveiled eco-friendly PVC stabilizers at the PlastIndia International Exhibition 2023, and announced a new manufacturing site at Dausa, Rajasthan.
Waldies, a renowned manufacturer of PVC stabilizers in Asia with origins in 1858, presented high-performance PVC stabilizers that conform to international regulations.
The company, which has over 40,000 TPA of production capacity, has provided stability solutions to the PVC industry for decades. Alongside its eco-friendly stabilizers, the Virichem® brand will also offer a secondary plasticizer, epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO).
The Waldies booth welcomed more than 1,300 visitors over the five days of the exhibition.
The centrepiece of the Waldies presentation was the launch of calcium-zinc stabilizers for both flexible and rigid PVC applications, while Virichem® epoxidized soybean oil drew strong interest across the hall.
Waldies also announced its third manufacturing site, with 24,000 TPA capacity, at Dausa in Rajasthan. The Dausa facility will focus on serving the company's markets in north and west India.
