Waldies plans an independent Virichem facility and new capacity
Wire & Cable India reports Waldies' plans for new capacity and an independent Virichem facility, focused on performance products for wires and cables.
The Waldies family is deeply shocked and saddened to inform the industry that our dear Chief Operating Officer, Mr Ashismoy Mitra, has passed away.
Mr Mitra was a thorough gentleman, confident and deeply learned in our industry. In recent years, through his extraordinary efforts, Waldies soared to new heights. Born on 5 November 1954, he joined the Gillanders and Waldies family on 3 April 1978 and remained one of its most valuable members.
After serving as General Manager for several years, Mr Mitra was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in FY2019.
The team at Waldies is in dismay at his sudden passing. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to a compassionate colleague.
